Working hours, framed in the final conference of the project DELI have completed this morning, where it has concluded with the intention of making a second edition of DELI project. The event was attended by the councilor of the area of Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon and the mayor delegated of Social Services, Carmen Martin.
At the close of the conference, the European Council stressed that the model of integration of immigrants into the local economy in Cartagena served as a role model for other cities.
Moreover they have come to light the results of the field study in this area has made ​​UPCT in collaboration with NGOs such as CEPAIM and ACCEM.
From the Department of Social Services it has announced the petition to the European Council in the implementation of the DELI II, and Cartagena again be part of this project.
Other cities that have applied integrated, in the event that will be held the second edition of the project have been Lisbon, Bucharest, Munich, Reggio Emilia and Getxo.
