Socialist Alternative commitment to invest in sports facilities in La Manga (23/10/2015)

La Manga can not remain a town with a unique idiosyncrasy in Spain, which depends on 2 municipalities Cartagena and San Javier, and having a common denominator for both municipalities be the place that reports more revenue to city coffers per and still be the town with fewer municipal investment, as is still the most important of the whole tourist destination Autonomous Community.

From Socialist Alternative we think the municipalities of San Javier and Cartagena are with the residents of the Manga establish a four-year investment plan to improve the quality of services of the riverside town of Mar Menor.

We thought that the plan must be agreed with the neighbors, business people and groups in the Manga facing immediate problems that this town certainly has.

So, incredibly, the City of Cartagena has remained impassive in recent years to the gradual proliferation of the phenomenon of botelleo by the Institute and the School of Manga where every day 1,000 students are taught the Manga, San Javier and neighbors Cartagena.

The fact that the grounds of educational facilities are not embedded in the municipality of San Javier City Council does not exempt from liability.

Therefore, from AS-AS Socialist Cartagena and San Javier we propose thus propose that the SKATE AREA is placed next to the church, on municipal land, thanks to easy access to the beach in front of the school and the lack of danger road traffic, addressing all four serious problems:

1) Remove the botelleo drastically, using the winter it is less problematic.

2nd) Cleaning parallel to the beach in the nursery grounds roads, forcing the owners to remove the rubble and fenced brand as the bylaws.

3rd) closing to traffic of the land adjacent to the school and parallel to the canal which supplies the Salinas de Marchamalo road.

4th) Construction of the coveted bike path.

Finally also provide the area pose a running track where they can practice this sport the locals.

We want to show the growing interest in the sport in the area even has an athletic club that hosts a large number of kids in the Manga.

These proposals have been made by groups and residents of the different administrations Manga getting so far no answer.

AS-SPCT register this petition in the City of Cartagena and submit the proposal to the Assembly Earn San Javier (which is part AS San Javier) to proceed is so decided to file a motion in the full City Council San Javier.
