Councilman Quality of Life held a meeting with the coordinator of International Cooperation dela entity, who has been informed about the process of welcoming people fleeing their countries in conflict Thursday
The council area of Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, received this morning, at the administrative headquarters of San Miguel, coordinator of Red Cross International Cooperation in Cartagena, Luis Roca.
During the meeting, Rock Calderon reported on the current state of the process of receiving refugees by conflict.
Recall that Red Cross, along with ACCEM, are the entities responsible in Cartagena to mediate and inform the City Council about the arrival of refugees, as well as the necessary arrangements.
Francisco Roca Calderon has sent the full involvement of the Consistory in receiving refugees, welcoming city declared from the outset.
The mayor confirmed that Cartagena is ready to respond effectively to these people since their arrival.
