The Roman Theatre Museum organizes a course on alternatives to seasonal tourism (13/10/2015)

The Roman Theatre Museum has organized a course on Cultural Heritage, Natural Landscape: Alternatives to Seasonal Tourism, to be held from 4 to 6 November in the auditorium of the Museum.

In the course it aims to address the growing importance the Cultural and Natural Heritage as dynamic agents of society and tourism.

The tourism potential of the region is key to the economy and an important factor in job creation.

On the other hand, it should create cross-sectional strategies that break the seasonality and remain active all year round tourism.

Places like the Calblanque natural park and the coast from Cabo de Palos to Cartagena, is a journey where they sailed Greeks, Phoenicians, Carthaginians and Romans, who gave life to Cartagena for the mineral wealth and natural resources, as the Mar Menor.

The course program is as follows:

Wednesday November 4

City and territory: cornerstones in winter tourism

19-20 h .: Cartagena city cultural tourism
