On the morning of Sunday 4 October it was led by the Solidarity March with Refugees.
At 1130 hours, the door of the Regional Assembly was full of families and political representatives at local and regional level to show support for refugees.
The march was composed of five kilometers, from the door of the Regional Assembly to the door of the Town Hall.
The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon, and Council of Security, Francisco Aznar, Finance, Isabel Garcia, Social Services, Carmen Martin;
Sports, Ricardo Segado and Tourism, Obdulia Gomez wanted to be present at the charity event.
The president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peñalver, the Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Thomas Violante, the rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Jose Antonio Franco, the head of the local police in Cartagena, Manuel Asensio, inspector and numerous regional deputies also wanted to be part of this solidarity march, organized by the Regional Assembly in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
