Senior entrepreneurs put their experience serving youth in the municipality (01/10/2015)

The City of Cartagena, through the ADLE, and SECOT Murcia, a non-profit Senior Volunteer for business advice, today signed an agreement to boost young people facing the development of new businesses and support SMEs

The deputy mayor and mayor of Greater Economic Strategy and Employment, Ana Belen Castejon, has signed an agreement with the delegate in Cartagena institution's Senior Business Advisory Volunteering (SECOT), Ricardo Salvador Bas, for which he will take advantage Thursday the experience of senior businessmen with long career in order to serve young entrepreneurs who want to enter the labor market.

Firm in which also featured the director of the ADLE, Diego Peñarrubia.

To Castejon, this intergenerational project is unique because it puts the wisdom of the elders accessible to young people, allowing the ALDE keep putting their bit for the training of entrepreneurs and have the best qualified workers in Cartagena.

SECOT, nonprofit organization based in Madrid, has 700 business volunteers throughout Spain, from leading companies, who provide free courses through its School of Entrepreneurship located in the capital and exercise of technical advisors to youth who they want to start a business, making the appropriate market research.

In this regard, Ricardo Salvador Bas highlighted the good work of the Agency of Local Development and Employment, who have already collaborated on the DELI project, explaining the basis of the agreement signed today, when a company requires our collaboration will call us and we we will analyze and study if you have the minimum conditions to succeed in today's market, highly globalized and competitive.

According Bas, we have to go to the citizen, motivate, and not wait for him to come to us, and in this sense the city of Cartagena is doing very well.

The agreement also provides continuous contact with the immigrant market, whose link, Giovani Flores, assured and what entrepreneurs and immigrant associations will serve to strengthen their chances in the labor market, teaching entrepreneurship courses.
