Thousands of Cartagena participated in the European Car Free Day (21/09/2015)

In its fourth edition, the event, and it's close to the Mobility Week, it featured sports activities for all ages, from cycling and table tennis to gymnastics or dance, all to demand more mobility on our streets.

Cartagena held yesterday the closing of the fourth edition of the Mobility Week, and made ​​out to the streets to participate in many sports activities that took place in the old town from 11.00 until 13.30 hours, to mark the European Day without Cars, and all to demand more space for people and more versatility when moving.

The City and Via Libre, event organizers, thousands of Cartagena offered the opportunity to participate in their favorite sports, and there was something for everyone, thanks to the altruistic collaboration of different groups. Indoor cycling, exhibition School biking Cartagena, exhibits trial bike, table tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, badminton, dog training, volleyball, handball, dance, skating, taekwondo and juggling and traditional games and even shop Recicleta Kamishibai, were some of the activities performed.

The mayor, Jose Lopez, and the Councillor of Greater Sports, Ricardo Segado, together with the Coordinator of Sports Activities Department, Eduardo Armada, and the head of MoviliCT, José Ángel Vivancos, did not hesitate to participate in some of organized activities.
