New season activities for the elderly and disabled (15/09/2015)

This morning has been presented at a press conference the program covering October to December.

The council area of ​​Quality of Life, the mayor of Social Services and the president of the Federation of Associations for the Elderly have revealed details

The program of activities for the elderly and disabled is already in the street.

The council area of Quality of Life, Francisco Calderó n, the Councillor for Social Services, Maria del Carmen Martín del Amor and the president of the Federation of Seniors, Maria Beteta have had the most outstanding program activities.

Many activities of all kinds complete day from October to December for both adults and people with disabilities have a great deal of leisure.

Councillor of Social Services explained that the aim is to improve the quality of life of these people through the proposed activities.

In addition, the mayor said that the program is divided into two sections: Activities for people with disabilities and older persons belonging to 42 associations existing in Cartagena.

Some of these activities are courses and workshops as the letters in the image, where historical and literary texts of Cartagena and Murcia, from October 13 to December 15 will be reviewed.

Sport also has a place in the program of activities and thus shows the thirteen proposed routes for hiking.

Councillor for Social Services, Maria del Carmen Martín del Amor explained that the participation of about five thousand people are expected to develop these activities and have had a budget of 10,000 euros in total.
