The Local Police of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Traffic Department is conducting a special campaign Traffic on Seat Belt and Child Restraint Systems (CRS).
It started last Monday, September 7 and runs until 15 March.
The prevention campaign aims to raise awareness of all drivers and passengers to use seat belt because it reduces by half the risk of death in a crash.
In addition, coinciding with the start of the school year, officers of the local police will rather emphasize the use of Child Restraint Systems (CRS).
On the other hand, the local police reminds drivers that the use of seat belts is mandatory for any journey, whether short or long, urban and intercity, and both front and rear seats.
