The Ecuadorian training ship Guayas open in the Curra (03/09/2015)

The ship Guayas School (BESGUA) sailing ship of the Navy of Ecuador will arrive first to the city of Cartagena (Spain), within its global tour that began last May and until January 2016, will take 24 ports on five continents.

In Spain, Cartagena is the only city of its journey.

It will arrive on Monday to dock Curra, where it can be visited by numerous Ecuadorian citizens residing in the area and the general public of the region of Murcia and surroundings.

During his stay, he will offer a varied cultural program with activities taking place from 7 to 9 September and has been presented to the media by Council of Culture and Tourism of the City of Cartagena, David Martinez Noguera and Obdulia Gómez;

the cultural attache of the Embassy of Ecuador, J uan Carlos Cuellar;

the Consul of Ecuador in Murcia, Cecilia Erique;

So, there will be tours to learn the ship visits at the following times: 7 and 9 September from 10:00 to 21:00 h, and on September 8 from 10:00 to 17:00 h.

On September 9, two cultural activities, the Procession of the Virgen del Quinche the Church of Santo Domingo, from 17:00 to 19:00 h are made, and from 20:00 to 22:00 the presentation of the dance group Ecuadorian Quitus in Luzzy Ramón Alonso Cultural Center, located on the street Jacinto Benavente No. 7 in Cartagena.

Its accommodation capacity is 182 people and can be moved up to 1217.82 tons of cargo.
