You have arrived another edition of the Cross of Cabo de Palos.
In this seventh edition of 1,300 runners participate, a hundred more than last year, of all ages and a category for people with disabilities.
The presentation of the VII Cross of Cabo de Palos has come Rea Councilman Sports City of Cartagena, Ricardo Segado by the mayor of San Javier, Carlos Albaladejo and the president of Athletic Club La Manga, Martin Fuentes.
According to the president of the Club, Martin Fuentes, they hope to raise thousand euros more and get the five thousand to be divided among five social institutions, one more than in previous years.
The leaders of the organization have been passed, as traditionally all benefits resulting from the registration of the participants will go to charities in the region com or ASID Cartagena, San Javier Caritas, the Spanish Association Against Cancer, the Little Sisters of the Poor and FEDAES, the latter is new.
The registration period has ended today and will be about 1,300 runners who will participate in the event, in which the club president explained that prefer quality over quantity and so have set the limit amount.
The route is 6.3 kilometers, including raising the lighthouse and start at 18.30 for the youngest category (300 meters) while the total output will be from 20.00.
The collection of numbers will take place Thursday July 23 at the supermarket UPPER Rosa Park Cartagena and Friday 24 and Saturday 25 am at the supermarket UPPER Cabo de Palos.
The evening of the race numbers will also be presented at the point of departure.
The registration fee is 5-12 euros, depending on the category.
