Cartagena does not have at present any public place of residence for seniors.
The only nursing home that had public character, Source Cubas, has been nearly a decade of work and therefore closed.

From Alternative Socialist-SPCT understand that it is time to end this new outrage to the general interests of the citizens of Cartagena, why we make a public request to all municipal parties of the City of Cartagena and the parliamentary groups of the Regional Assembly (except the PP, who was the promoter of privatization) to initiate the necessary steps to achieve the opening of the nursing homes of Source Cubas and that it is a public facility, managed directly by the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
Cartagena spaces need public housing for our seniors, the infrastructure is made, we demand that management does not pass into private hands.
