The Court of Administrative Litigation No. 7 Cartagena has rejected for lack of legitimacy, s in going into the substance of the matter, the appeal of the General Council of Official Colleges of Secretaries Comptrollers and Treasurers of Local Government on the agreement of the Board Government of March 14, 2014, leaving deserted by filling the post of municipal auditor of the City Council.
This resolution is controversial, because the Board of Governors decided not to award to Fernando Urruticoechea Basozábal the post of auditor, alleging the unsuitability of it, but fulfilled, according to the agreement itself, t he formal requirements for the position and was the only candidate .
This administrative act of the previous Governing Board was challenged before the administrative courts by the General Council of Associations of Secretaries Comptrollers and Treasurers of Local Government, without appearing personally that procedure the interested party, Urruticoechea.

Regarding this issue Local Government reiterates respect for judicial decisions, and recalls that the criminal proceedings is still open, which must decide whether or not there is a crime in the actions of the former Local Government and delimit , where appropriate, responsibilities.
