Field work The Native Flora of Cartagena.
Study and Rehabilitation garbancillo Tallante has launched tomorrow Friday, July 10, at 18 pm, the council of Greater Archaeological Heritage and Culture, Sports and Youth, Ricardo Segado will welcome the 20 participants that are part of the project.
The project aims to boost relations between young people from different regions of Spain, giving them to understand the environment of the region of Cartagena and the coast, as well as promoting respect and conservation to life that has such an environment.
The main objective of the European project LIFE + is to sensitize the population about the importance of conservation and awareness of endangered species and biodiversity in general.
Participants will work on improving the conservation and recovery of species, namely the garbancillo of Tallante, through the collection of seeds, trail maintenance, etc.
The field work is part of the Youth Programme of the Directorate General for Youth of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and is organized by the Department of Youth of the City of Cartagena, Polytechnic University of Cartagena, European Eduka Leisure Association and the project LIFE 11 BIO / ES / 727.
Participants come from Madrid, Castile and Leon, Valencia, Catalonia, Aragon, Asturias, La Rioja, Andalusia and Castilla La Mancha, they will be housed at the Youth Hostel of Canteras from 9 to July 21.
