The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, has asked the heads of the company SABIC in La Aljorra a greater presence with advocacy and sponsorship in Cartagena, so that citizens feel as a local company.
Lopez was speaking at the end of the meeting of an institutional nature which together with the Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon, held with Theo Van Eldik, CEO, Hector Puyosa, director of the Technical Management, and Eugenio Villanueva, director of Global Purchasing .
SABIC makers have noted that there is already a certain degree of involvement with the Aljorra and actions related to the university.
The mayor stressed the importance of this factory which manufactures plastic that is complementary in terms of prestige, jobs and wealth existing in Valle de Escombreras and Cartagena configured as a global industrial center.
SABIC makers have called for collaboration with the City for the administrative management of its projects, an issue that has been receptive Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
