Delve into the information and communications technology from the core of one of the leading companies in the sector in China, is the chance that the Asian company Huawei has been given to a student in the 2nd year of the Degree in Electronic Engineering and Automation Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Miguel Angel Navarro Zoroa, thanks to their design projects 3D printers and the creation of these machines.
The scholarship called "The Future of ICT" and that Huawei has awarded Navarro Zoroa and 19 engineering students in Spain includes a training program in China for two weeks, from 12 to 25 July in which they receive a week training on key technologies developed by the company at its headquarters in Shenzhen.
The grant will also provide students with a one-week course of Chinese language and culture in Beijing and a visit to Hong Kong.
During his stay in China twenty students enjoy the scholarship, funded entirely by Huawei, learn concepts in the field of Telecommunications Technology Research, know the exhibition center of Huawei, its logistics center, laboratory R & D and manufacturing center.
Before his trip to China, the scholarship students will move from 8 to 10 July in Madrid, where they will attend the educational event Huawei "Creating opportunities through education" and will also visit facilities Huawie Spain.
The student, a member of the association of young researchers UPCT Makers UPCT, got the scholarship in a video presenting an idea of ​​original and creative about 3D printing and the development of ICT's future.
This is the third year that Huawei calls this grant, which is part of its global project "Seeds for the future", and adds value to the curriculum of the scholarship students with international experience in a multinational leader in the sector.
