The mayor, Jose Lopez, and Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon, have held this morning a meeting with the heads of FCC, senior partner of the City of Cartagena in Lhicarsa, concessionaire of street cleaning and waste collection in the municipality of Cartagena.
The meeting has been framed in the round of contacts that are ongoing with officials of municipal contracts.
After the interview, Jose Lopez, highlighted the cordial tone in which it has developed and pointed out that the City shall henceforth greater control over contractors and concessionaires of services, in order to banish situations and behaviors anomalous that had been made ​​in some of them, optimize prices and provide better service to citizens.
The mayor is committed to promote the award of service maintenance of parks and gardens, pending for several months, and in which FCC, concession so far the service and one of the contestants, has denounced the interests of some technicians, according to the mayor they will be checked.
Lopez has also warned people interested rumors are spreading about an alleged late payment of the City to the company and the pressures that are making these same people workers.
The mayor has said he will not hold pressure of any dealership.
After the meeting, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor have been in a visit to the premises of the company and workers.
