Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Hernández Castejón has supervised throughout the day today the state of the beaches before the start of the peak summer season which starts on Wednesday, July 1.
During the visit it has been shown the progress of the operation to rescue and surveillance in the 22 seats where it operates Civil Protection or the state of i nfrastructures and tourist facilities for holidaymakers as signs, toilets or devices disabled access in bathing areas.
Castejón, next to the Security council, Francisco Aznar, and the Councillor for Tourism, Obdulia Gomez, has also met with entrepreneurs and associations of residents of La Manga and Cabo de Palos with whom he discussed issues such as night security and leisure for the summer season.
