UPCT it undertakes to ensure completion of the course students Tourism (29/06/2015)

The Polytechnic University of Cartagena is preparing measures to ensure the end of the course to the students of the School of Tourism, an agency attached to the private center UPCT measures.

In this way, students will present their projects to grade the exams in September.

The announcement was made by the Rector, José Antonio Franco, this afternoon, after a meeting with the directors of that center.

The meeting, also attended by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Student and Economics, has occurred after the Department of Tourism has informed students enrolled the imminent closure of the facility.

Franco said that the UPCT enable teachers provide space and support to students in the School of Tourism so that they can finish their academic year normally.

Students have made public their concern following the announcement of the School of the August 1 will proceed to eviction from the center by default and that the facilities will be closed from 1 to 10 July.

Students argue that this will prevent conduct exam review and meet the qualifications.

Students have no fear tribunal to present their final degree project.

Students have visited this morning the Rector UPCT to order measures to ensure the end of the year.

After the meeting this afternoon is to not only achieve this but also ensure that students enrolled can also finish their studies.
