The Master Info sitting the School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) has emerged from this morning until the 3rd of July, in the classroom of nearly two dozen children between 7 and nine years participating in the workshop Let's ETSII Lego WeDo.
Let's Lego WeDo to ETSII is an activity aimed at students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th of Primary that aims to awaken the vocation for science among children in developing simple engineering projects.
Children will work for a week with the kit called Lego WeDo.
It contains simple sensors and a motor connected to a computer enables programming with a fun and easy tool that allows children to get started in robotics.
This tool encourages collaborative learning.
The workshop, aimed at children of staff UPCT and held daily from 9:30 to 12:00, is performed for the second year and is funded by the School of Industrial UPCT, which also provides teachers who teach the little ones to carry out the work.
