Forty-five students will practice UPCT Navantia, in the most complex engineering project in Spain (29/06/2015)

Navantia Cartagena, immersed in the creation of a next-generation submarine, opens the possibility for students to work on projects UPCT smart application in various areas of engineering

The living room of degrees of the School of Teleco of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) hosted this morning the presentation of the internship that Navantia Cartagena has proposed to 45 students UPCT.

The event was attended by the director of the shipyard Navantia Cartagena, José Manuel Sanjurjo, who presented the integrated system SIG2P prototypes and processes.

Sanjurjo explained that the shipyard of Cartagena, a fully digital model of management, is engaged in the creation of a next-generation submarine covering all fields of science, which is the most complex engineering project that now takes held in Spain.

We also wanted to emphasize that the experience of making these practices is only open to students and different paths in their future careers.

The internship is open to all students of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, but is especially directed to students of schools of Naval, Industrial and Telecommunications.

Navantia practices begin in September and will be processed by the COIE UPCT.
