The VI Route I Strengths and Ultra Strengths held on April 18, has managed to raise 57,400 euros for social purposes.
The organization has agreed to designate the donation to 23 social organizations, whose respective checks have been delivered this morning in the auditorium of the School of Marine.
The ceremony was attended by the Councillor of the area of Quality of Life, Francisco Jose Calderon, and the Councillor for Social Services, Maria del Carmen Martín del Amor.
Last April 18 was held the VI Route I Strengths and the Strengths Ultra, and with the collaboration of 53 companies, health professionals, volunteers from different entities, Navy, among others, and nearly 4,000 athletes participating, is It has managed to raise 57,400 euros, for the 23 selected social organizations.
The money raised has been allocated to 23 social organizations and to develop an environmental project, carried out by the Association and whose Columbares the money raised allocated to regenerate a stretch of the route is already punished enough.
The 23 beneficiary institutions, who have collected a check this morning are: Alzheimer's Association of Cartagena (AFAL), Home for Children (Casa Cuna), Caritas Diocese of Cartagena Food Bank of Murcia, Cartagena ASID Foundation Carousel Equine Association Pablo Ugarte against childhood cancer, supportive Dining Jesus Master and Shepherd of Caritas, Damas del Carmen, Club Deportivo Cartagena Adapted Icue Miralmonte, Cystic Fibrosis Association of the Region of Murcia, AFeCTAMUR, Home Association The Good Samaritan Congregation the Little Sisters of the Poor, Santa Teresa Charitable Hospitality Association, Association Columbares Environmental Project, Red Cross Regional Committee Spanish-Cartagena, Association of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, Multiple Sclerosis Association of Cartagena and Shire, ASTRADE Murcia, Region ASTEAMUR Murcia, ES APIC Cartagena, Collective Association The Association Huertecica and Rascasa.
Donations come from money raised from registration fees of participants and the amounts donated by companies mainly from Cartagena environment in the sixth edition of the Route I Strengths and Ultra Strengths, organized by the Navy and the city of Cartagena, one after deducting fees corresponding liability insurance and accident participants and other costs of the test.

The area councilor Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon said that the tests are a fun, festive, social and solidarity activities and thanks to the people who have already contributed nearly 4,000 athletes participated, has allowed the delivery of this money to various social organizations.
The VI Route Strengths, civil-sport event held on Saturday, April 18, 3750 provided an opportunity for participants to take a tour of 53 kilometers by the most representative castles and fortresses of the city in a maximum time of 12 hours .
I Ultra Strengths, on the same day, had the participation of 245 runners for 111 kilometers in a maximum time of 22 hours.
