EVS project encourages reflection on Human Rights (15/06/2015)

EVS, Rashid Masood Musa, is giving talks on the status of ethnic-religious group Yazidi in northern Iraq and Syria.

The EVS project is framed in the program Implica2 the Department of Youth and the Botika Book

Rashid Masood Musa, born in Iraq but fled to Germany since 2010, doing EVS project in the Youth Council where she works as a volunteer, mainly in the Implica2 program and the Botika Book in the neighborhood Jose Maria de la Puerta.

The volunteer gives talks on human rights and religious minorities, reporting on the situation of ethno-religious group Yazidi in northern Iraq and Syria as part of its project staff work in Cartagena.

The talks are being given by various institutes of Cartagena, at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, at the University of Murcia, specifically in the Conference on International Cooperation;

in the Second Conference on International Cooperation of the Red Cross in the region of Murcia and Fair Trade activity at the Turn of your Corner 2.0.

Luis Roca, Department of International Cooperation of the Red Cross in Spain, collaborated in these talks offering positive content by promoting awareness of human rights.

The Youth Space, through its Mobility Space, encourages young people from Cartagena to live this international training experience.

Each year, about 15 young Cartagena benefit from this learning opportunity focused on social and professional integration.

The EVS project is framed in the Community Erasmsus + Youth in Action Programme, funded by the European Commission.
