The Ministry of Health and Social Policy informs citizens of the Health Area II-Cartagena that from tomorrow, Tuesday, donors will be addressed at the third floor of the Outpatient Rosell.
Hours of operation will be the usual, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am 14:00 pm, and the second Saturday of each month at the same time.
The director of the Regional Blood Donation Center, Dr. Vicente Vicente explained that blood donation is "essential to maintain the activity of the hospitals in the region and to perform routine activity centers as normal".
Dr. Vicente stressed the "need to increase the number of donations" and raise public awareness that it is "fundamental" hold stocks in hospitals to meet the needs of oncology and hematology patients.
He stressed that all blood types are needed and encouraged all those over 18 years to donate blood.
All persons interested in donating can check times and locations of the mobile units on the website www.murciasalud.es/crh.
