The Mayor makes the traditional side of traffic and other measures at Easter (26/03/2015)

Since the start of the procession on Good Friday to Easter Sunday there will be restriction measures concerning the movement and parking of vehicles on the helmet and several councils, with motifs of processions and special services of bus lines and extended hours on the terraces of the bars

The mayor of Cartagena has given the traditional side of reorganization of traffic and other measures to be adopted on the occasion of the celebration of Holy Week processions. These measures will involve changes in both passing vehicles and car parks in the town and in some districts and councils.

The side has in effect since early March 27, Good Friday, which leaves the procession of Christ of Socorro, until the 5th of April, Easter Sunday, and will, in general, it can not be circulate and park in the main streets of the center, to the discharge of chairs and assembly work boxes, stands and processions.

These restrictions will be extended to other streets and days depending on the route of the procession, and the neighborhoods where processions are held as alums, La Aljorra, La Puebla, Albujón, La Palma, Llano del Beal, El Algar, Cabo are Palos and Los Belones.

As for the schedule constraints, in general, during the days of Holy Week, from 7.30 to 15.00 will allow drivers to access authorized vehicles garages, Banks, Loading and Unloading, Public Works and Services.

The authorizations for the specified access shall be issued in the Department of Traffic and Citizen local police, located at Paseo Alfonso XIII. From 15.00 to 17.00, only access to the Public Service will be allowed and from 17 pm until the end of the procession , no access to vehicles, except emergency services and emergency situations will be allowed.

For Palm Sunday, Holy Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday, the prohibition of traffic will be total from 9.00 hours to complete the procession every day.

The pedestrianized area, meanwhile, is governed by its own rules, ie the entry and exit of vehicles to the pedestrianized zone will be up to 17 hours and in any case, you can not pass through this area when subtracted less than 4 hours to the start or the end of the procession.

SCHEDULE terraces and watchmen
