Hall and Government Delegation guarantee safety at Easter (23/03/2015)

The Local Security Board, meeting Monday, has unveiled the device that will run from the Friday before Easter Sunday, with the strength of Local Police, Fire, Civil Protection, National Police and Civil Guard, which will be monitored daily both downtown as neighborhoods and beach areas

The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, and the government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Joaquín Bascuñana have chaired Monday the Local Security Board meeting to coordinate the special device of Holy Week, which will run from Friday before the Easter Sunday, in which, as every year, Local Police, Fire Brigade, Civil Protection and state security forces, such as the National Police and Civil Guard involved.

The first thing the mayor stressed that this year has been the number of effective local police is somewhat higher than last year, with a total of 1888 days, which will average 172 officers per day, with peaks of 230 moments of bigger audiences.

Civil Protection also participate in this safety device, with 32 volunteers, 3 ambulances (one 4x4), a first-aid kit, a forward controls, 3 rapid intervention vehicles, 2 personnel carriers, terminal 112 and the focal 24 hours.

The beaches will also have troops in positions of Socorro, so that the Good Friday will open in La Manga the post opposite the building Zeus, and from Thursday Santa, there will be five aid stations (Galúa add, Sirens, Entremares and San Ginés) and two zodiac rescue in the Mar Menor and the harbor.
