The City Council joins Earth Hour (20/03/2015)

Cartagena joins the blackout in Earth Hour.

The City off exterior lighting of the Town Hall to show support for the environment.

It will be on Saturday March 21 at 22 am when the blackout, like other cities take place.

The main objective of this call is to raise public awareness for the protection of the environment.

The port city joins this environmental initiative. Earth Hour is the largest global mobilization campaign and fight against climate change.

This action is organized by WWF and was born in Sydney in 2007 and has since achieved the participation of more than 7,000 cities in 160 countries, thousands of businesses, schools and organizations that join this initiative to demonstrate that a future based on the clean energy is possible.

Cartagena will add to this show of support for the environment on Saturday March 21 at 22 am, turning off exterior lighting of the Town Hall.
