La Virgen de la Caridad Brotherhood Cartageneros in Madrid yesterday paid tribute to our patron with the celebration of the traditional Ash Thursday.

At the events organized in the capital attended, representing the council, the councilors Isaiah Camarzana and Alonso Gómez

Lent begins and with it, the traditional events that accompany each year.

This is the case of the celebration of Ash Thursday in Madrid, organized by the Virgin Brotherhood of Charity in Madrid Cartageneros, to pay particular tribute to the patron saint of Cartagena.

Around a hundred people attended Thursday acts, and attendees, the council of the municipality of Cartagena, Isaiah Camarzana and Alonso Gomez in municipal representation.

The Brother of the Brotherhood settled in Madrid, Antonio Berrocal, welcomed them and a memory, a Sacred Heart methacrylate, for attending the festival.

First a Mass was celebrated in the Church of Santa Teresa and Santa Isabel, in the popular Chamberí district, where the Virgin of Charity is worshiped throughout the year, and then came the fellowship dinner in the Hotel Gran Velázquez .
