On Wednesday, February 11, will begin in the auditorium of El Batel of Cartagena, the first of two semifinals Chirigotas XIII Regional Competition within the Fiestas de Carnaval Cartagena.
It will involve seven of the fourteen groups who have registered this year, eight of Cartagena-six the rest of the region.
The following semifinal will take place on Thursday and Friday, the final.

The final, with the top five groups will be Friday, the 13th, and will be in two idênticas sessions at 20 and 23:30.
The first one will be broadcast live over the internet through the channel of the City of Cartagena youtube streaming video and can be followed through both computers and mobile devices.
The second session can also be followed direto through Radio Cartagena Cadena Ser. This issue will be led by Ruth Garcia, Jorge Fernández-Caro with wireless microphone backstage, and comments from Sergio Martinez, chirigotero and juror in several editions.

Competition Chirigotas City Cartagena reaches its 28th edition, of which the last 13 have been regional.
The final will be presented by Miguel Meroño SER and Silvia Mateo, Tele-Cartagena.
There will be five prizes, the largest of 2,200 euros;
and other for Best Costume, Original Music, Lyrics and Staging.
