Success Campaign doniación of blood in the IES Ben Arabi (29/01/2015)

Between 09:00 and 14:00 on January 28, held a blood drive at the IES Ben Arabi.

With unprecedented success, 59 students could donate blood, while many others were waiting, keeping busy throughout the period the team that worked hard all morning doing extractions.

The collection is one of the best examples of a range of activities, as part of the Education for Health, has scheduled the IES Ben Arabi in collaboration with the Regional Blood Donation Center.

Previously, it had conducted a series of activities designed to clarify and encourage blood donation. On January 14 a talk on the importance of blood donation and subsequent uses, pronounced by Mrs. Antonia took place Maria Gomez Simon, Coordinator of the Regional Blood Donation Center, addressed to students of 4th of ESO.

Groups of students at this level have explained, for 20 and 21 January, the fundamentals learned in chatting to fellow 1st and 2nd High School, encouraging those adults to donate blood at the projected.

There have also been murals and posters that were distributed around the center.

For its part, the Management Team and responsible Program Health Education Center, these activities have spread among all members of the school community: teachers, parents, students, and administration and services.

In all respects, have exceeded forecasts, since participation has been very high, and students, and the entire educational community, have become aware of the profound relief of the Blood Donation solidarity and concern which is responsible for contributing the improvement of the Company, especially in our environment.
