The Green Municipal Izquierda Unida-Group has today asked the municipal government team to access the accounts of the Consortium Cartagena Port of Cultures of the years 2012, 2013 and 2014, and the budget prepared for this year 2015.
The request is motivated by the fact that the accounts of the consortium is not disclosed to the parties of the opposition, who have no access to them to defend the interests and rights of citizenship through vote, the spokespersons made thereof.
And not disclosed to the parties of the opposition because not even covered in Local Government, which would allow opposition councilors, in this case the IU-Green, request access to records and have a thorough knowledge of revenue and expenditure of Cartagena Port of Cultures.
This lack of information and transparency leads to facts as unusual as the opposition councilors they find travésde the press, by the response of the Councillor for Tourism to criticism of the chieftain that involves the transfer of the centers interpreting the consortium for the next 50 years, expenses and income generated from Cartagena Port of Cultures.
