El Puerto gives facilities for courses maritime and fishing (15/01/2015)

The Minister of Education, Pedro Antonio Sánchez visited the facilities at the Lighthouse Christmas, accompanied by the mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro and the president of the Port Authority, Antonio Sevilla.

The Hesperides Institute of St. Lucia will be responsible for organizing these curos of fomativo FP cycle.

The Port Authority gives its facilities over a thousand square meters to the Ministry of Education.

The Integrated Vocational Training Centre Espérides has over 500 students, of which over 140 are maritime-fishing training.

The Minister of Education, Pedro Antonio Sánchez wanted to visit these facilities, accompanied by the mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro and the Port Authority chairman, Antonio Sevilla.

The Minister explained that the quality of education is also improved with the provision of equipment, opting for vocational training aimed at greater employability.
