Last Saturday was held at the Pavilion Jiménez Cartagena Sword II National Meeting of Patchwork, event organized by the Department of Women and, on this occasion, was attended by about 200 people.
The Councillor for Women, Clara Heredia, did not miss a day filled with art and wrapped Christmas spirit, enough to look at the theme of the meeting: Decorate your Christmas.
There was exhibition of works, materials and stands offering Christmas card competition, all to provide a little more Patchwork technique, which in recent times has gained quite booming.
It consists in making textile pieces, joining fragments of fabrics of different types and colors, which make drawings and aesthetic results.
In addition, a solidarity quilt made ​​for the occasion whose proceeds will go to help Alba, a child with special needs draw.
