The Marist Brothers school pavilion received Thursday aj ugadores of UPCT Basket Cartagena, male and female, with which students of 6th primary center held a meeting on basketball, included among program activities ADE (Approach to Sport à ‰ lite) organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena.
The day began with a presentation of athletes, who broke into the school hall to the applause of the 120 students who participated in this activity.
During the meeting, the sporting director, Paco Guillen spoke about the history of the club and the work being done at the grassroots and senior teams, and then components of the men's team, Carlos Gracia Carselle and Uros Vasiljevic and female, Paula and Ruth, answered questions and curiosity of students.
The second part of the activity was more practical, with games, exercises and mini-parties, which involved schoolchildren with players such as monitors exception, on a morning where basketball was the main character.
The day ended with the presentation of photographs of male and senior teams for all students and signing autographs.
The activity developed in the facilities of the school itself, where the leadership and faculty prepared a spectacular day of basketball.
The ADE program is organized by the Sports Council of Cartagena and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the Association of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Region of Murcia.
