SPCT proposes to amend the General Plan of buildings to shield the South Bank of the Mar Menor (20/11/2014)

Any measure to involve an increase in the conservation of protected areas always count on our support, so good news considering the agreement between Anse and the City in the Mont Blanc.

From SPCT hope that this agreement is the beginning of a change in municipal government planning policy in protected environments.

Until now it was Barreiro has been characterized by giving leeway to the disproportionate construction in protected areas of the municipality and only the outbreak of the economic crisis has stopped, at least temporarily, the disaster would have involved the construction of 10,000 houses in the vicinity of Lo Poyo salt marsh.

So from SPCT propose to the City Council, which like has in the Mont Blanc, drive an amendment of the General Plan around the vicinity of the southern shore of the Mar Menor, which prevents urban developments such as Novo Carthago be impossible to raise in the future.

I believe that it is wise to rectify, and thought the company responsible for developing the Partial Plan Novo Carthago has not complied with the commitments in the planning agreement, and would likely rectify this urban nonsense without breaching the municipal coffers, since breaches of the company undoubtedly help reach an agreement to avoid damages.

Also from SPCT consider this "new political line" that seems to drive the municipal government of the PP, in an attempt to rectify the era of increasingly Barreiro one must go further.

So if we want to be credible, and not stay in a cosmetic operation should prohibit projects like Macropuerto Gorguel since its construction can be devastating for the conservation of this natural area.
