Cartagena hosts the Spain Basketball Championship for the intellectually disabled (13/11/2014)

About 240 athletes from around the country will gather this weekend in municipal halls and Head Wssell Guimbarda Beaza where entry is free for match play in three modes, competition, and adapted sports skills

Teams intellectually disabled basketball in Spain, to 30 from nine regions such as Asturias, Aragon, Extramadura, Castilla La Mancha and Valencia, among others, come together this weekend to participate in Cartagena Spain Basketball Championship FEddi.

The Federation of Disabled Sports Intellectuals (FEddi) Primi Sport Club Sport, and expert in these conflicts, and the city of Cartagena, assist in the organization of the sporting event, which starts on Thursday, with the arrival of the delegations and runs until Sunday 26 November.

The closing ceremony will be on Saturday November 15th in the afternoon, after the semifinals and finals, in the Central Hall, starting at 8pm.
