The Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, along with the president of the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia, José Luis Mendoza, and the Mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, today visited the new campus of the Ucam in the city.

This new complex of over 100,000 square meters, located in the former headquarters of Sorrows, the next course will be held degrees in Nursing, Law, Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education.

The Inter-University Council last Friday gave unanimous approval to the facility ahead of its opening for next year, during the month of October, after the positive reports of the technical committee of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities and the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA).

Pedro Antonio Sánchez concluded that "Ucam is becoming, by his drive, determination, courage and dynamism, in one of the most important companies and regional economic engines, patron of elite sport and culture, and an ambassador for the region outside of Spain. "
