Soria city hosts from the 11th July to late August an exhibition commemorating the twenty-fifth anniversary of its foundation, which also can be seen in Cartagena from September.
The cities of Cartagena and El Burgo de Osma, twinned since 1996, narrowed again yesterday its friendship with the opening of the exhibition "From Uxama to Qart Hadast. From history to the party."
The exhibition can be visited in one of the halls of St. Augustine Cultural Centre Soria city until late August, was opened on Friday evening by the mayor of El Burgo de Osma, Antonio Pardo, the Cartagena councilman Mariano García and the president of the Warriors Uxama, Maria Dolores Reynaldo.
Before more than a hundred people, responsible for opening the exhibition reminded, among other things, intense relationship said Carthaginian troops maintained with Soria town since 1990, date of its foundation.
The exhibition is a journey through the history of El Burgo de Osma and Cartagena in ancient times and the role that both cities played in the Second Punic War and every September is recreated in Cartagena during the holiday Carthaginians and Romans .
"From Uxama to Qart Hadast. From history to the party," may also be seen in Cartagena from early September in the Museum of the Roman Theatre, and will be the main act of the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the founding Los Guerreros de Uxama.
