The National Police has again proceeded to the arrest of a known habitual criminal burglary specializes in garages and storage rooms in the city of Cartagena.
The facts date back to last May, when they began to occur several reports of robberies in storage garages in different buildings in this city.
Quickly researchers, given the same "modus operandi" and areas of commission of the offenses, suspected of a known offender specialist in this type of crime.
From that moment, a series of surveillance at home and around began with the purpose of checking their every move, but given the great experience of this subject were quickly detected.
For that reason, the researchers had to renew all police monitoring intended for adding new staff, known in policing slang as "unburned" to achieve surveillance undetected.

Investigators continued their surveillance whose ultimate goal was the arrest of this person "red-handed" and especially achieving find out what was the final destination of all stolen.
Finally, perseverance paid off when police officers were able to arrest this guy carrying different effects when trying to sell a run and frequented by citizens of North African origin bar.
With the corresponding commands of entry and search, the researchers proceeded to the inspection so the establishment as the residence of detained, managing to recover large amount of items that were subsequently recognized by their owners.
For this reason also arrested the owner of the bar where besides buying items that offered them the author of the theft, were subsequently resold to local customers.
This individual was observed on surveillance doing a normal life once arrested him began to "feel bad" because of respiratory condition being treated and requiring him to bear, sometimes a bottle of oxygen, so the agents took him to the hospital where he remained in hospital for the whole time of his arrest.
When arrested he was charged, eventually a total of 22 steals in buildings, although researchers suspect they may be more, because the owners do not regularly check the status of these.
The detainee is author of 150 steals in storage rooms and garages.
This person has been detained since 1996 who began his criminal activity on 24 occasions for similar crimes, being the author of some 150 robberies in storage rooms and garages in the city.
The investigations were carried out by the Local Judicial Police, assisted in the police service by the local Public Security Brigade of the Commissariat of National Police of Cartagena.
The detainee was finally made available to the Court of Instruction Number Five in Cartagena Guard functions.
