CCOO denounces new educational concerts in the region (24/06/2014)

Although the towns of Ceuta and Molina have a more than adequate educational provision between schools supported by public funds, the Ministry has decided to expand, we do not know what dark motives, underutilized resources at its disposal and closing units.

At a time where the drop in the birth rate, the return of immigrants and the bad management of the Ministry in the design of educational opportunities in the region, is forcing the closure of child units, the Ministry of Education has decided to grant the concert to private schools in areas where there is no need for further education places.

The Federation of Teaching CCOO complaint in San Pablo CEU, are two units of child 3 years to be arranged for next year, while a unit is deleted Children at this level, the two available in the CEIP Cervantes, center latter which has a number of applications more than enough to maintain your current job next year.

It also states that in Ceuta CCOO happens something very similar, as from next year the College Magda also have two concerted child 3 years classrooms, causing the same problems as we described before for Molina.

The uniqueness of this town is that just three years ago the fourth public school opened, in addition to the neighboring town of Alguazas is a concerted school, the Vega de Segura, ensuring supply for those parents who do not wish such centers.

For Teaching CCOO Federation, the Ministry is condemning an absurd competition, bordering cannibalism among schools supported by public funds.

It also implies that the waiver of his task of planning and organization management to optimize the resources available to it, putting the interests of "a few" in the public interest.

Teaching CCOO Federation condemned the attitude of the Ministry on the one hand closed classrooms in public and private schools, with the disruption this causes to families and arranges other new groups in areas where supply is more than sufficient to meet a declining demand from families.
