Lorca Planes confirmed nineteen people in Cartagena]
The parish of Our Lady of Carmen Cartagena held yesterday Confirmation of a group of twelve youths and seven adults, who received the sacrament of the Bishop of Cartagena, Bishop Jose Manuel Lorca Planes.
In his homily, the bishop stressed the importance of continuing to walk in Christ and encouraged young people to live with the confidence that the Lord is Shepherd and source of happiness.
They were encouraged to fight human misery through words but mostly by example, always with the strength of the Holy Spirit.
He said also to the candidates who had entered a life "called holiness, which is not a club of boring."
After the celebration, presented Mr. Bishop confirmed a picture with pigeons in which each had written a petition or intention;
and asked him to pray for them and as they pledged to pray for him.
