The VIII Forum Women and Society, organized by the Institute for Reproductive Medicine Bernabeu, was opened this morning by the CEO of Health Planning, José Antonio García, Councillor for Health, Ángel Nicolás Bernal, the technical director of the Nursing College of Cartagena, Lourdes Cantero, and the technical director of Instituto Bernabeu, Rafael Bernabeu.
In this forum current and general interest on women divided into three blocks and takes place in the hall of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) topics.
The day started with WOMEN AND HEALTH block has been addressed in childhood obesity, the importance of good nutrition and nutritional advice.
They have also addressed issues such as the prevention of teen pregnancy, menopause and cancer
The morning would end the block WOMAN AND ABORTION midafternoon the last block of the forum, WOMEN AND SOCIETY be addressed.
Cartagena has been chosen to host the eighth edition of the forum because it has the city since 2003 with headquarters of the institute.
The organization of this forum has been commissioned, the Instituto Bernabeu and Rafael Bernabeu Foundation social work, in collaboration with the Department of Women City of Cartagena and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).
