A story made of plasticine in the Municipal Archaeological (05/03/2014)

There is no better way to get the attention of the little ones with the clay, a material highly contested between school and now becomes art.

This is Plastihistoria Site, the temporary exhibition from tomorrow Thursday houses the Municipal Archaeological Museum Enrique Escudero de Castro. Until June 27 will be open to the public exhibition which has traveled some Spanish cities such as Malaga, Valladolid and León .

A good way for children to learn in a fun way the history of mankind is told chronologically in the exhibition with a different and attractive treatment, explained this morning the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero during the presentation.

The ceremony was also attended Museum director Maria Comas, and Secretary of the Education Foundation, Jorge Peláez.

Is this Foundation which is behind this original project that was born three years ago with the aim to promote education among young people, one of the main ideas that Educates, a collective of retired teachers was created. Plastiart took care of implement these figures designed exclusively clay, except for some details in wood or moss.

It took three months to produce these 20 windows in the exhibition.

From the Paleolithic Era to the globalization of these days are shown in Plastihistoria, a collection in which the visitor can find from a Phoenician ship, the Trojan horse, the discovery of America.

There is no detail to chance, socks acting as flag of the First World War or eggs and bacon Cowboys eaten in the West. One must be very careful to enjoy each scene, so many come several times to visit the show, confessed Jorge Pelaez of Education Foundation.

The comic tone also appears in Plastihistoria so that young learn our history in an entertaining way and with a set smile on his face.

For example, a rogue Goya Maja draws a model dressed as your

Nude Maja or a painting of a television in the Paleolithic.

Not only kids can enjoy this temporary exhibition of the Archaeological, but also the elderly, who will review some of the key moments of humanity.

Also, as usual, the school will participate in educational workshops that are organized to promote learning.
