Cartagena Foundation for Teaching Spanish Language and Culture (Funcarele), has achieved a new milestone this week for the positioning of Cartagena as a regional and national leader in language tourism, is that from now on, foreigners studying Spanish may obtain the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) to certify their knowledge of the language officially in our city.
The DELE Diplomas are internationally recognized, and enjoy great reputation, not only among public and private institutions and educational authorities but also in the business world and among chambers of commerce.
Thus, they are suitable for promotion opportunities and access to education in Spain and in other countries where the tests are performed. Last year over 64,000 candidates appeared in a total of 101 countries.
The DELE are developed and organized by the Instituto Cervantes according to the specifications of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​which are awarded on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain.
Tests to the six existing levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2) can be made ​​in any of the five examination sessions: April, May, July, October and November.
Funcarele has yet to decide whether to carry out all the calls available or best suited to the needs of their students.
Remember that the Foundation is accredited by the Cervantes Institute since July 2010 and passed rigorous quality inspections every 3 years.
