More foreign centers of Cartagena Port of Cultures tourists (15/01/2014)

The balance of the 2013 Cartagena, Port of Cultures, as significant data showing the increase of foreign tourists, especially Americans and Russians, and the Roman theater is still by far the most visited site.

Another point to consider, according Palazón is the increase of foreign tourists, up 2 percent, reaching 49 percent of total visitors, detected a significant increase in the number of Americans, by 6 percentage points, driven by arrival of this nationality cruise port, and also tourists from Russia.

German, French and UK visitors practically maintained.

With regard to domestic tourism, which is 35 percent of the total detected an increase in visitors from Andalusia, Valencia and Madrid.

As regards from Murcia, has been estimated at 16 percent, the number of visitors from Murcia is maintained and increased by 5 percent from the rest of the region.

DINAMIZACIÃ "NY PROMOTION" N

Revitalization activities and marketing activities organized by Cartagena Port of Cultures have greatly contributed to this positive balance of 2013.

MÃ S SCHOOL VISITS

Specifically, in 2013 we have worked with 80 companies of this type, of which 21 have been incorporated for the first time to work with Port of Cultures.
