The kids had fun with garbancillo Tallante (13/01/2014)

Educate young about the importance of environment is the main aim of the day last Saturday attended by dozens of children in Plaza Juan XXIII.

It was the final practice course juvenile Environmental Education Activities: Conservation Garbancillo Tallante.

Participants enjoyed throughout the morning, from 10.30 to 14, of different games that play well formed in this area. Questions and answers, face painting, workshop sheets, design silhouettes, and word of mouth are some of mural activities with the little ones entertained.

The IMPLICA2 Youth Space Program the Youth Council of Cartagena organizes this activity, which also works the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the Regional School of Animation in Recreation, the School of Education Animation & Leisure in Maragua, Calblanque Association and the El Patio my house Ludote-k, with funding from the European project Life + Biodiversity.

A plan for the whole family that puts the finishing touch to this course, whose aim has been handling the tools for planning, dissemination and implementation of environmental education activities, and promote the creation of a volunteer group for environmental education Cartagena area.

The purpose of this course is to facilitate understanding and conservation of Tallante garbancillo, a plant species endangered listed on the official list of wildlife species in VPO regime, given in Spanish Books in Endangered Species and is also in the Regional Protected Flora catalog.
