The award highlights the Voluntary Commitment to the solidarity of citizens was held Monday Dec. 2.
In this fifth edition were, for the first time, two the winners.
One was awarded to Sara Cabezas, a citizens with a broad curriculum in voluntary work, as well claimed Antonio Calderon, Councillor for Social Care.
The other award was received volunteers from the Spanish Cancer Association for their work on healthcare.
The excitement did not fail during the event, which took place in the classroom culture of CAM, in which the winners wanted to thank his family and friends this award.
Meanwhile, Sara Cabezas recalled his roots and what his mother had taught him: the importance of sharing, support and be in solidarity with others, especially with those most in need.
It was his grandson who would give a large bouquet of flowers that received voluntary excited.
During the ceremony, a portrait of the winner in the volunteer activities highlighting that these years had served as the holding in The Vincentian Partnership was performed.
In addition to speeches Sara Cabezas and several volunteers from the association awarded, Councilman Antonio Calderón wanted to acknowledge the work of all the volunteers.
At the end of the act, the audience could enjoy a few minutes of music by the choral group Carthagonova.
The event was attended, besides Antonio Calderon, Councillor for Social Care, Ruth Collad or Councilman Young, Isaiah Camarzana, district councilor, Clara Hall, Councilwoman Women, and Rosario Montero, Councillor for Culture.
