Antonio Piñana, father, and has its place in Cartagena (02/12/2013)

Since this afternoon, the flamenco singer Antonio Cartagena has Piñana Segado square in his hometown, coinciding with the centenary of his birth.

This is a public space located in the Trinity neighborhood, between the streets Gabriela Mistral, Miguel Hernandez and Ruben Dario, near the Conservatory of Music Professional Cartagena.

The nomination ceremony was presided over by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, along with the Socialist spokesman Charity Rives, the Councillor for Culture and trainer of record of honors and awards, Rosario Montero, and the son and grandson of the honoree, and Antonio Curro Piñana.

In addition to other councilors, there has also been a large representation of the flamenco club Piñana Antonio, developer of the tribute, friends and family.
