Cartagena City Council has no plans to take a next job (25/11/2013)

The mayor, Pilar Barreiro, has denied this afternoon that the City of Cartagena have tabled the development of a public job.

Barreiro has been shown to blunt and says want to deny the information published thereon, in order to avoid false expectations citizens who might be interested in running for any of the seats.

The mayor has said that right now the government team is working on the adjustment and reorganization of the municipal staff, composed unos1.330 workers to adapt to the needs of the moment.

In this sense he recalled the forthcoming integration of the employees of the Planning and Municipal Social Services in the municipal staff and those who have to find where they fit best with a reallocation plan.

The Adjustment Plan that is under the city of Cartagena and the rest of government, remains frozen the municipal staff since 2008 and prevents the calling of a public job until 2015, and provided that the objectives are met economic and financial criteria.
