The course Introduction to Volunteering reaches its fifth edition (08/11/2013)

On 19 and 20 November in the Graduate Hall of the Faculty of Business of the University of Cartagena, former CIM, the V edition of the Basic Training Course Introduction to Volunteering. Yet the term is open Registration which ends on Thursday, November 14.

Three modules will be taught over the two days in which volunteering is encouraged as the motto of this year.

The first will introduce participants to basic concepts of the subject matter, emphasizing the requirements, but also on the benefits that volunteering brings.

Information tables on different fields of volunteering, elderly, disabled or children to name a few, monopolize the second block, while the third is reserved for practices in volunteer organizations. Likewise, this last section will be completed with the participation in Collection Campaign 2013 Christmas Toys driven by the city of Cartagena.

This training course Basic Introduction to Volunteering has 7 contact hours and 18 hours of practice.'s Organized by the city of Cartagena, through the Municipal Volunteer Program, and also has the collaboration of the UPCT.

REGISTRATION

The cost of registration is free, while the period within which the same will be closed on Thursday, November 14.

Also, students who want to get UPCT 1 ECTS must complete seven hours both onsite and 18 hours of practice.

Notably finally schedule this fifth edition, offered at the Graduate Hall of the Faculty of Business: Tuesday 19 of 17-20 hours, and Wednesday, 20, of 16-20 hours.
